Will about.tax be free forever?
Yes. We will always offer a basic membership for free, through which you will be able to access the main feed and closed or public groups. We are working to develop premium membership options, as well as paid content such as webinars, e-books and e-courses.
Can anyone join?
about.tax is a comunity exclusively for tax professionals. This means that anyone who works or studies in the tax field is welcome to join about.tax.
Are membership fees inclusive or exclusive of VAT?
Our basis membership is free, so no VAT here 😉
Any fees mentioned on this website in the future will exclude VAT. For EU-resident private individuals and Dutch entrepreneurs, we charge local VAT at the applicable local rate. For other EU-resident entrepreneurs, VAT is reverse-charged. For non-EU residents, VAT is out of scope.
Can I share my own content?
Yes! about.tax is all about sharing content and interacting with your audience. Currently, all members can share content on the main feed as well as in closed or public groups. On the main feed, we do curate content – i.e., we may remove irrelevant or inappropriate content or comments.
In the future, as the platform grows, sharing for all members may be limited to the groups. In that case posting to the main feed may be limited to premium members and/or contributors.
Does about.tax offer group memberships?
Certainly. Group memberships are available for firms, schools or professional associations. Send us an email at info@about.tax for more information.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. You can cancel your membership up to seven days before the end of your current billing cycle. You can arrange this yourself in our billing portal.
